I have temporarily deleted the photos for these slide shows, but I will set them back up soon. Sorry for the delay.
In Cyndi's Garden
Last spring I spent several glorious mornings in the beautiful garden of my friend Cyndi in Shirley. She is a dedicated gardener, easily and lovingly referring to many of her hundreds of plants by their Latin names. There was dew on certain plants, the maidenhair ferns and the lovely white primula siebaldii blossoms in particular. In contrast, most of the other plants were either dew-less or almost so. Please enjoy seeing what I saw there.
Acadia National Park and the Maine Coast
At the end of the summer 2 years ago Val and I drove up to Northeast Harbor on Mount Desert island for the wedding of a dear friend. We spent some time exploring the area and were well rewarded photographically for our efforts. Acadia National park is a wonderful place to visit. Here are some of our favorite visual memories.
Butterflies seem like flying blossoms to me, their colors rivaling the flowers they visit. Most of these butterflies were photographed at the Butterfly Place in Westford, Massachusetts. Several were flying around in the Butterfly Farm on Aruba. And a few were actually found outside where I happened to be.
My husband Val is a fine photographer and we have been fortunate to have been able to travel to some very beautiful places. Please enjoy a quick tour of a few of them.
